For Immediate Release:

Velorution Video 99:

On the first Thursday night of October - the Video Activist Network proudly presents, "VELORUTION 99" A night of paradigm-shifting videos about BICYCLING.

Featured Videos:"Critical Mass Shorts", New "BIKESUMMER Highlights", the great Cuban "Velorution," a clip from Ted White's great piece "We Are Traffic" and (not yet shown in the US) clips of "Reclaim the Streets" footage from abroad.

Forget the oil spills, the long commutes, the foreign wars, the toxic air and the concrete guernica and come enjoy the night's screening - which focuses on the abuses of car culture and celebrates the return of the bicycle. Join the revolution that will not be motorized - yet lends itself so well to local, independent video producers.

No one turned away for lack of funds. If you would like to get involved with VAN, come to a screening and introduce yourself, explore the website, or e-mail us.
