Bulldozed! Film & Video Festival
Resisting the Globalization of Displacement
A Benefit for the Mission Anti-Displacement Coalition (MAC)

Media Alliance, Global Exchange, and the Video Activist Network are proud to present a program of films and videos about gentrification, eviction, the housing and homelessness crisis, the effect of dot-coms and the new economy on working class and poor people, and, of course, community organizing efforts to solve these problems. Don't miss our special screening of "Delivered Vacant" (presented with Free Speech TV ), an 8-year chronicle of gentrification in Hoboken, New Jersey, which shows amazing similarities between Hoboken and San Francisco.

"Delivered Vacant"

$5-$10 Sliding Scale/No One Evicted For Lack of Funds

Displacement and gentrification are global problems, so we will showcase films from all over the world - and learn how people in New York, Chicago, Washington D.C.,Virginia, the Philippines, and India have resisted evictions and fought for their homes.

The festival will benefit the Mission Anti-Displacement Coalition (MAC), a grassroots, community organizing group in San Francisco's Mission District.
